According to Dieter F. Uchtdorf, the human soul yearns for the desire to create.

I remember when my friend Karolina took me to MDK Lublin at the age of 10. It was a magical place that allowed us to explore our creativity through various activities such as art, music, drama, dance, technology, languages, and cooking. It was a happy place where I felt inspired, understood, safe, and accepted.

As a mother, I wanted my son and other children to experience the same joy and have a similar place to explore their creativity. That's why House of Culture Brighton exists, to provide a safe space for the local community to discover, express and enjoy creativity, regardless of their ability, age, sex, race or religion. “HoC” brings people together to share experiences through a variety of art and well-being activities in an accessible venue located in the heart of Brighton's city centre.

It all begins with an idea.

Hello! My name is Kinga and in October of 2020, I decided to make a change and pursue my lifelong dream.

I created and opened House of Culture Brighton, a space where people can discover, enjoy and experience art. I strongly believe that art is essential to expressing oneself and maintaining well-being and that everyone is capable of being creative. I am incredibly grateful for the support of the amazing people around me, without whom the House of Culture wouldn't exist.

I live in Brighton with my son Franek and my partner Wojtek. In my free time, I love swimming in the sea, wandering with friends, dancing freely, creating, eating chips, and collecting eyeglasses. I love all the colours, my favourite one is orange!
